Chill with some Thai hippies, you can go to the south end of the island, to Hat Sai Noi and Bang Bao Beach. During the season, there are also some festivals happening - with DJs and late-night parties at different places, and famous Thai singers and bands performing.
Please wear some beach shoes or sandals. You might think it's more fun to feel the sand between your toes but trust me, it's not worth the risk. There's a lot of broken glass on the beach, and it can cut your feet badly. I know this because my wife was one victim of this in Koh Chang. She stepped on a sharp piece of glass and had to go to the hospital for stitches. So please, don't make the same mistake we did. Wear beach shoes on the beach and protect your feet from harm.
Koh Chang is a dream destination for anyone who loves nature, culture and fun. You can hike through the jungle, swim in the sea, visit temples and markets, or party all night long. Koh Chang has something for every taste and mood, but the best part is just relaxing and enjoying the amazing views of this beautiful island.
